Getting ready for school is a crazy time of the year! My days consist of planning and prepping, and my nights are a time when my mind keeps on thinking of exciting ideas. Even eating has become a time when I am getting ready for school!
One of the first things I do to get ready for school is getting my binders ready. Now, most teachers keep the same binders from year to year, but I have an obsession with getting some new ones! What teacher doesn't love to walk down the Target School aisles and pick up some new binders!?
This year, I wanted to go with bright binders, so I made new binder covers that were black and white. This will go great with my classroom {matching is a must for me}!
I wanted to make this product editable for everyone to add their own pages--very helpful I would say! Also, the product includes binder spines, section dividers and section tabs! Take a peek!

Meet the Teacher {Editable}
Can you believe that it is the end of July!? I woke up and had Meet the Teacher on my mind. I recreated my past Meet the Teacher to this updated black and bright bundle--and I am really excited about it! The bundle on TPT is fully editable as well! Here are some of the great resources included:
Also, included is a fully editable flipbook! I love how it turned out. I printed it out on Astrobright paper and it turned out great! Here is how the flipbook turned out:

Bat Integrative Literacy Unit
With Halloween so close, I thought it was a good time to share my Bat Unit! This is a great way to integrate literacy and science. Also, this unit has math, physical education, counseling, art, and technology standards covered! Common Core aligned and fun to use!
Vocabulary Around the Room Activity- Gets kids moving and using their context clues!
High Frequency Words are also Going Batty!
Science and Literacy collide in this fun unit!
Oh Yeah! Did I mention that all the lesson plans are included with the common core standard included!
This bat study from A Day in First Grade inspired me to create my own big CAN, HAVE, ARE Bat. The fun labels were not included on her website, so I made some and put them in my bundle for you to easily print on bright paper and use!
